You’re longing to experience a deep sense of purpose and want to live a life filled with joy and meaning. But right now you’re feeling:

Overwhelmed & Stressed

You’ve got a lot on your plate and are overwhelmed with day-to-day responsibilities. You’re worried that you’re missing out on living life to your full potential but don’t know how to make the changes you want.

Stuck in a rut

You feel like you repeatedly face the same problems over and over, but you’ve no idea how to let go of the negative emotions that have been holding you back.

Out of touch with your own needs

You’re constantly seeking external validation and putting everyone else’s needs before your own.

A one-to-one consultation and bespoke blend of flower remedies can help support you to realign your emotions and make positive change.

This could mean:

  • More confidence

  • Better relationships with your family, partner, and friends

  • Reconnecting with yourself and discovering your true life purpose

  • Living joyfully in the present instead of dwelling on the past, or day-dreaming about the future

  • Stronger boundaries and putting your own needs first

The most challenging part of choosing Bach Flower Remedies very often lies in identifying how you are really feeling. My unique combination of counselling skills and in-depth knowledge of the Flower Remedies can help guide you toward restoring your vitality and balance.

Discover the transformative qualities of Bach Flower Remedies for yourself

Book a consultation, either in person in Exeter or via Zoom. Each consultation is tailored to your needs.  I will invite you to tell me about your current situation, and what you would like to change. I will suggest up to 7 Bach Flower Remedies to support you, explaining how each Remedy acts to rebalance a particular emotion. I will then make your bespoke remedy mix.

Initial consultation: £60

Follow-up consultation: £30

(+postage costs if on Zoom)

  • Your first consultation with me will last 1 hour and 15 minutes. This can be followed up with shorter meetings (45 minutes) to review your progress and renew or adapt your remedy mix as appropriate.

  • I will invite you to tell me about your current situation, and what you would like to change. I will suggest up to 7 Bach Flower Remedies to support you, explaining how each Remedy acts to rebalance a particular emotion.

I like to end the consultation by inviting you to look through a set of photos of the Bach Flowers, to see if any particular flower stands out. This can be a really useful way to select remedies for yourself, and can be a good way of seeing whether I have missed anything! However, I must say that it is more usual for the cards to confirm the remedies we have chosen together.

I will make up a remedy mix for you to take away (or post to you if we are meeting online), clearly labelled with instructions on how to take the remedies. Each remedy mix lasts between three and four weeks, during which time you should begin to notice a shift taking place.

  • If you come for an in-person consultation, you’ll be able to take your remedy mix home with you. If we chat via Zoom, I’ll arrange for your remedy mix to be posted as soon as possible.

  • "Angie's consultations are not only filled with so much information, but you can see she is able to read between the lines and pinpoint certain aspects that might have been missed by me entirely. I cannot recommend her enough!"

    Delia M, Missouri, USA

  • “I feel so welcome in Angie’s consultations, she has a gentle approach to discussing life’s happenings, making an individual flower blend to help me."

    Julia S, Exeter

  • "During the consultation Angie was skilful at listening to my situation. She was empathic, and intuitive in looking at my needs. She prescribed me flower remedies that suited me, and helped me to deal with my emotional needs."

    Denise L, Cornwall

Bach Flower Remedies can also help animal friends

Bach Flower Remedies are extremely effective on animals, perhaps because they have no preconceived ideas about whether they work! I have successfully used remedies with clients’ dogs and cats, as well as on my own pets, to support them through visits to the Vet, trips to the Cattery or Dog Boarding, and also sadly when the time comes to say goodbye, to ease their passing. It is important to treat both the owner and the pet at such times.

FAQs

  • Bach Flower Remedies comprise 38 essences made from nature, to treat every possible emotion. Dr Bach believed that simplicity is the key to using his remedies. They contain the unique healing vibrational energy of plants, captured in water and preserved with a little brandy.

Safe, simple to use, and effective for adults, children, and animals, the remedies work by addressing emotional imbalances, and restoring equilibrium and well-being.

  • Two methods are used to make the remedies. Most of the more delicate flowers are prepared using the ‘sun method’. Flower heads are picked and placed into a bowl of pure spring water, in direct sunlight, for up to three hours.

Woodier plants, and those that bloom when the sun is less strong, are prepared by the ‘boiling method’. The flowers are picked and placed in boiling spring water for half an hour.

With both methods, once the heat source has transferred the energy of the flowers into the water, the energised water is mixed with an equal quantity of brandy. This mix is known as the Mother Tincture.

The Mother Tincture is further diluted into brandy, (2 drops per 30 ml of brandy) to make the stock bottles that you purchase.

The remedies do not contain any physical part of the plant. Unlike Essential Oils, they do not taste or smell, and unlike Homeopathic remedies, they can be taken alongside any food or drink.

They are so non-invasive that it is impossible to overdose on them, and if you choose a remedy that is not right for you, it will do you no harm.

  • Just as a beautiful sunset or a photograph can move us, so that we feel more at peace, so taking a bespoke mix of remedies uplifts us, by gently releasing any stuck negative emotions, helping us to be the best we can be.

There are many theories about how this happens. Most believe that the active ingredient in the remedies is an energy, or vibration, that is transferred from the living flower into the water during the process of making the Mother Tincture.

Some think that this energy forms a pattern in the water. Others talk of Quantum mechanics and spiritual vibrations. Attempts to capture this energy have produced very beautiful Kirlian photographs, showing distinct patterns and colours for each remedy.

The real proof that these flower energies exist is the transformation they have effected on the many thousands of people who have used them to feel better since they were first discovered in the 1930s.

  • Yes, it should be safe. The alcohol in the undiluted remedy can usually be ignored, as the amount in a dose is so small. However, it is always advisable to talk to your Doctor or Midwife first if you have any concerns about taking Bach Flower Remedies when you are pregnant.

  • If you are a recovering alcoholic please seek medical advice before taking Bach Flower Remedies.

Although the alcohol content in Bach Flower Remedies is very small, taking even a minute quantity of alcohol may have an undesired psychological impact on someone who has decided to give up alcohol completely.

In addition, it is important to note that the drug Antabuse can cause a violent reaction in anyone consuming even a tiny amount of alcohol whilst on this medication. For these reasons, it is best in these circumstances to consult a qualified medical practitioner before taking Bach Flower Remedies.

Remedies can be administered externally, by placing them on pulse points, or by putting drops in bath water. In addition, if remedies are dropped into a hot drink, most of the alcohol will evaporate. If in doubt, please consult your GP or Alcohol Adviser before consuming any Bach Flower Remedies.

  • Bach Flower Remedies work by releasing negative feelings and emotions. Sometimes these emotions will have been suppressed for a long time. On very rare occasions the cleansing process can take the form of a rash, or a ‘healing crisis’ may occur, as deep-held feelings are stirred up. This is a natural part of the healing process, and if such things occur there is no reason to stop taking the remedies.

  • Normally there is no problem with taking Bach Flower Remedies alongside conventional or allopathic medicines. The active ingredient in a flower remedy is vibrational energy from the plant, rather than any physical substance, therefore it will not interfere with the action of any other medicines you may be taking.

However, a small amount of alcohol is used to preserve the remedies when they are bottled. Although the amount of alcohol in a single dose is minute, if you have been advised by any medical professional to avoid all traces of alcohol, or you are a recovering alcoholic, it is important to check with your Doctor, Pharmacist, or Health Advisor before consuming any Bach Flower Remedies.

  • The Bach Flower Remedies, unlike Homeopathic Remedies, are very robust. They are not affected by x-ray machines at airports, barcode readers in shops, radiation from screens, or other Electro-Magnetic frequencies.

There is also no problem with keeping them in a refrigerator. The only things to avoid are heat and direct sunlight - both of which can make the brandy preservative stale.

  • Bach Flower Remedies do not cause any side effects or aggravations, but it may be the case that they stir up suppressed feelings that need cleansing and release before complete healing can be achieved.

There is no need to stop taking your remedies if a ‘healing crisis’ occurs, such as feeling weepy or very tired for a day or two.

  • As with any alternative to allopathic medicine, when using Bach Flower Remedies it is important to remember that they are not a substitute for professional medical diagnosis and or care.

It is recommended that you consult your GP in the first instance if you have any concerns about physical or mental ailments of any kind, and before you take Bach Flower Remedies.

  • The world of colour offers a useful analogy. With only three base colours, red, blue and yellow, every visible colour can be produced when they are combined.

Dr Bach determined that there are 38 remedies that address 38 basic states of mind. It has been estimated that choosing up to 7 flower remedies in one dose offers over 11 million possible combinations!

Dr Bach said of the remedies “They are able, like beautiful music, or any gloriously uplifting thing which gives us inspiration, to raise our very natures, and bring us nearer to our Souls: and by that very act, to bring us peace, and relieve our sufferings.”

  • Everyone can benefit from Bach Flower Remedies! They work equally well on adults, children, and animals. They are especially helpful for anyone who is grieving, going through a divorce, moving house, changing schools, going to university, welcoming a new baby (or pet), wanting to change jobs or relationships, struggling with Menopause, or dreading an ‘empty nest’ when the children move out. I have successfully used bespoke Bach Flower Remedy mixes with clients facing all of these situations and many more.
